Charcoal Workshop
Supplies

All workshop participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies each and every time. Here are the recommended supplies.

Charcoal Pencil Set

A variety of extra soft, soft and medium charcoal along with a white charcoal.

Mars Lumigraph Black

Use these black pencils for fine detail when working in charcoal.

Kneaded Eraser

This eraser can be molded to erase tiny areas, you can press and lift instead of rubbing and you can knead it to clean it!

Blending Set

This blending set includes makeup blender, blending stumps, and the pastel sponge tools with changeable triangle sponges which would all be perfect for charcoal drawing.

Charcoal Powder

Powdered charcoal for large quick coverage.

Compressed Charcoal Sticks

A harder type of charcoal.

Mini Blending Brushes

These small brushes are awesome for working with charcoal!

Electirc Eraser

Great for erasing small areas, works especially well with charcoal.

Charcoal Brush Set

This flat brush set will help you blending your charcoal.

Rubber tip tool

I like using these rubber tips tools to scrape out thin lines such as in the vein of leaves, etc. I often use them to sign my wet painting with!

Variety erasers

These different erasers work great for charcoal work.

Micro-size Retractable Erasers by Mono Zero

A set of tiny ended rectangular and round retractable erasers, great for tiny areas. I absolutely love these erasers!

9x12 Drawing Pad (spiral)

A great smaller size drawing pad.

Bristol Paper 9x12

A nice smooth paper for final pencil, colored pencil and charcoal drawings.
